Ordering is easy and you can place an order via:

Ordering through the website

Once you have located an item you are interested in purchasing, click on the order button associated with that item. The item will then be transferred to your on-line shopping cart. If you are interested in ordering more than one item, click on the Continue Shopping button located below your item/s on the bottom of the page.

You can review your items by clicking on the ‘Shopping Cart’ icon located on the top right of every page. To process your purchase, click on ‘Checkout’ and follow the simple steps to process your order. At this stage, new customers will be asked to register a few details for order processing.

Please review your order for accuracy.

If you have a coupon code, be sure to enter it in the code exactly as it was issued otherwise the computer may not accept it. Only one coupon per order is permitted.


We accept payment by interbank transfer (for Singaporeans) and Paypal (for both Singaporean and international buyers).

Interbank Transfer

Our bank details will be displayed at time of checkout and goods sent upon confirmation of payment.

A leader in security technology Paypal uses state of the art fraud prevention to stop cyber crime. You do not need to setup a Paypal account to pay securely through Paypal.


As soon as your order is placed, we do everything to have your order processed, packaged, and shipped by the next business day. A delivery notification will be sent out to you.

Within Singapore

Local orders will be delivered via Singpost. Please note that we will not be liable for lost mail.

You may like to have your order delivered by registered mail. We place a flat fee of $4.50 for this service. With registered mail, you are able to track your order and Singpost is liable for missing parcels. You will need to be available to acknowledge receipt for your order and it may take an additional 2 to 4 days for delivery.

For urgent deliveries, we can arrange next day despatch of items. There is a charge of $10 for this service (up to 3kg).

International Shipping

Shipping charges are calculated based on the weight of the total package including the box, the requested shipping speed, and the distance of travel.

Shipping fees are not calculated based on the value or quantity of the items in the order.

If you would like to know how much your order will cost to ship, simply place the item(s) in your cart, enter your shipping address, and press Continue. Your shipping charges will be calculated before you enter any billing information.

Refunds and Exchanges

Your satisfaction is extremely important to us!

If you are unhappy with the products that you have received, we will happily organise an exchange or store credit for you. To qualify for the exchange or refund, the product must be returned to us within 14 days of receiving the goods and in the same condition as it was shipped – i.e. unopened, unused, and undamaged. Products that have been opened, used, or damaged will not be accepted and will be returned to the customer at the customer’s expense.

Please also contact us at needleandthread@rocketmail.com within 5 days of receiving your order to let us know the reason you will be returning the fabric.

Do note that you are responsible for the postage cost of returning the goods by registered post. Please repack the products carefully for the return trip to avoid damage in transit. You are also responsible for postage costs of replacement.

Once returned goods have been received by us, we will send an invoice for postage of a replacement order, and your goods will be dispatched as soon as possible.

Please note that there are no exchanges given on sale goods or cut fabric one metre and under.

Should there be a problem with your order, such as damage in transit, manufacturing faults or the like, please contact us immediately. We will arrange to send you an addressed stamped envelope to return the goods to us. Upon receiving returned goods, we will immediately organise a replacement order to be sent to you. Please note that we cover all postage costs in these circumstances.
